VT KnowledgeWorks will present the Fifth Annual Entrepreneurship Challenge on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, Blacksburg, VA.
First, Virginia Tech faculty, staff, students, and/or alumni will compete in the Tech Transfer Challenge. Hoping to establish a new venture in Blacksburg using their Virginia Tech owned technology, the teams will compete to win $100,000 worth of mentorship and business support services.
Second, Virginia Tech student teams will compete in the Student Business Concept Competition for $10,000 in scholarships, start-up services, and the opportunity to compete on a world stage In August, 2013 for the $25,000 VT KnowledgeWorks Global Challenge Award during the VT KnowledgeWorks Global Partnership Week.
